| Message: | Recently on eBay I bought some diaries of William R Bower. These diaries are from when he was 11 (1878), 14 (1881) and 18 (1885). I am not looking to sell these diaries - I want to know more about him. I have found out from the 1901 UK Census that at that time, aged 34, he was living in Holmfirth, and was a Tutor in Electric Engineering. Although I am not related to the Bower family, I would like to know more about him, and would like to know if the information in the diaries would be of use to others. Thanks, Steve Read |
