| Message: | BOWERS, MULHOLEN, CASKEY, MC CAULLEY Seeking info on the BOWERS family of Antis Twsp, Blair Co. PA. My ancestor was Michael BOWERS (1804-1848), who married Margaret Mulhollan abt 1828. Believe his father was Conrad BOWERS (1774-1858)of Fayette Co., PA. Michael's children were James Weston b 1829, Ann Elizabeth CASKEY (1831-1866), Jesse J. B1837, Mary Jane McCaulley (1841 -1921) who moved to Iowa abt 1868. Tax Records for Antis Twsp in 1844 also show William, George,Jacob and John. Were they brothers of Michael? Jesse was a Lt in the Cavalry during the Civil War. Never found him in the Blair Co. area after the war. Believe he may have lived in Phil or Baltimore. Family was active in the Logans Valley Baptist Church. DOLORES | |
