Name: Albert H. Stearns(1882), lumber dealer, of Dorchester, son of Albert T. and Salome (Maynard) Stearns, was born in Waltham Aug. 15, 1844. He married, Nov. 11, 1885, Kate Bowers Dexter, of Pawtucket, R. I. He spent his boyhood in Dorchester (now Boston), and attended the Dorchester High School. He early learned the lumber business, which he has pursued until the present time. He was sixth sergeant of artillery in the Artillery Company in 1890.
