Have you noticed that you usually find only one obituary at a time? Think about it. . .most people don't die in groups. Unless you're lucky enough to have come across multiple deaths in the same area in your line, you have many, many individual obituaries.

 

Find the state your ancestor died in and go to it. A note though. . .state records, where there is a large group, will be indexed above. These tables are for single or smaller groups of obituaries only.
