Relinquishment of Title - 1824
THE STATE OF OHIO CLINTON COUNTY:
BEFORE me personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the justices of the peace within and for the said county Dorothy Bowers the within name grantor and acknowledged the above deed of conveyance to be her voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned in testimony whereof I have hereinto set my hand and seal this eleventh day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty three.

CLINTON County Green Township State of Ohio December the 11th 1823, we the undersigned do agree to relinquish all our right and title to a certain tract of land containing sixty acres lying and being in Clinton County and state of aforesaid bounded as follows beginning at the east corner of the original survey a white oak hickory and dogwood being the north corner of Abraham Bufords survey #4397 thence with the original line North 45 west seventy two and one half poles to a sugar tree two white oaks being the east corner of Jacob Bowers land thence with his line south 45 west one hundred and twenty nine poles to two hickories and four dog woods at his south and in Morgan cemetery line thence with his line south 45 east seventy six and one half poles to his east corner in Bufords line a white oak tree and dogwood thence with the original line No.43 East one hundred and twenty nine poles to the beginning said tract owned by Dorothy Bowers and now sold to Charles Harris by the consideration of the same mentioned in the deed.
